Assistance for Innovation

The TECHNICOM Program funds projects through an institutional mechanism. Eligible proponents must be an established institutions and/or companies, specifically any of the following entities:

  • DOST-assisted local Research and Development Institutions (RDIs) and State Universities and Colleges (SUCs)
  • DOST-supported Technology Business Incubatees (TBIs) or start-up companies/firms

Eligible proponents should submit a project proposal following the TECHNICOM proposal format and other general requirements needed for the review and evaluation process:

  1. Full-blown proposal following the TECHNICOM Format
  2. Work Plan of the Project/Gantt Chart (DOST Form No. 2B-1)
  3. Line Item Budget (DOST Form No. 2B-3)
  4. Endorsement Letter from the Proponent’s Agency Head
  5. Commitment Letter from Private Industry / Collaborating Agencies
  6. Curriculum Vitae of Project Leader
  7. For TBI-supported projects, copy of business permit, licenses or certificate of registration of business name with DTI, SEC or CDA (if applicable)
  8. Proponent’s letter of interest to avail of TECHNICOM assistance addressed to
